One-Punch Man Season 3 Premieres October 5 With New Teaser & Visual

After 6.5 years, Saitama returns to TV screens with the ultimate “Strongest vs. Scariest” showdown!

The One-Punch Man fandom can finally breathe easy—Season 3 is officially set to premiere on October 5, 2025. After years of anticipation since Season 2 wrapped in 2019, Saitama and the Heroes Association are gearing up to face their most terrifying enemies yet. The series will air on TV Tokyo in Japan at 23:45 JST, followed by an overseas simulcast via Crunchyroll, so fans worldwide won’t have to wait long.

New Key Visual: “Strongest vs. Scariest”

To celebrate the announcement, a brand-new key visual was released that perfectly captures the heart of this upcoming arc: heroes and monsters colliding head-to-head. It’s a combination of two earlier visuals — the “Strongest” lineup of heroes revealed in March, and the newly dropped “Scariest” version packed with the series’ monstrous villains. Together, it creates a striking face-off that sets the tone for the chaos to come.

Teaser PV and Opening Theme Reveal

Alongside the premiere date, fans also got a new teaser PV previewing the high-stakes action. The promo gives us a quick but thrilling taste of what lies ahead and highlights the upcoming opening theme song, “Get No Satisfied!” by JAM Project with BABYMETAL.
This collaboration is already generating buzz — JAM Project’s legendary high-energy vocals combined with BABYMETAL’s genre-bending style could easily make this one of the most iconic OPs of 2025.

Production Details: Who’s Behind Season 3

Season 3 is being produced once again by J.C. Staff, the studio that handled Season 2. Shinpei Nagai takes the director’s chair this time, known for his unique flair in shows like I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying. Series composition is handled by Tomohiro Suzuki, with Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirokawa designing the characters. Makoto Miyazaki returns as music composer, ensuring the series keeps its signature punchy soundtrack.

Special Recap Program Ahead of Premiere

Before Season 3 kicks off, a special recap broadcast of Season 2 will air in Japan on the same day, October 5, at 24:45 JST. Narrated by Takasei Nakao (the voice of Vaccine Man), the program will revisit key highlights from the previous season. A Season 1 summary narrated by Keiko Toda has also been uploaded to YouTube, making it easier than ever for both new fans and veterans to catch up before the new season begins.
